Designed for my mother, who needed a greenhouse built on a budget. The greenhouse repurposes my unused childhood playground, incorporating its timber frame directly into the new structure. All materials were sourced from within a 50km radius; rough sawn lumber from a local mill, upcycled windows reclaimed from local sellers and repurposed polycarbonate roofing. The simple shed roof structure allows for vegetables to be grown year-round and is outfitted with a water collection system, allowing near complete self-sufficiency.
